Pump Cover
Part No. 96200-01

Specs

Sonnax offers an upgraded OE replacement pump cover for AXOD & E, AX4S & AX4N applications. The Sonnax design has increased thickness over OE to prevent flexing and ensure proper sealing.

• Upgraded replacement for OE
• Increased thickness to prevent flexing
• Die-cast aluminum alloy
• Precision machined
• Contour designed to allow removal of complete valve body without removing pump cover, unlike other aftermarket covers.

Pump Shaft Sleeve
Part No. 96201-18

When installed, this pump shaft sleeve restores the fit and integrity between the pump shaft and the valve body. As this sleeve is not currently available, the rebuilder is forced to buy a new valve body.

Before installing the sleeve, notice that a witness mark has been machined into one end of the sleeve, aligned with the machined lube hole. This witness mark designates the end that protrudes out of the valve body and provides a visual aid for alignment of the lube hole during installation.

Press the sleeve into the valve body on the face that contains the two locator pins. The witness mark and the lube slot should be aligned with the crossport in the valve body. The sleeve should be left protruding from the valve body by .220".

• Restores pump shaft integrity
• Saves replacing valve body

 O-ring style

Uncontrollable throttle pressure due to oil loss is a common complaint in vehicles with an AOD transmission. This results in low line pressure and poor throttle and shift timing adjustments. The hardened steel throttle valve plug continuously reciprocates within the aluminum throttle valve sleeve, wearing the inside diameter of the sleeve. This wear allows throttle valve feed oil to leak past the plug and exhaust, resulting in poor line rise.

• The throttle valve sleeve is manufactured from high-quality aluminum to prevent wear.
• O-rings added to the outside diameter of the sleeve prevent feed oil from escaping past the valve body bore.
• Steel plug has been tightly toleranced to allow minimum clearance with the inside diameter of the sleeve, thus restoring the hydraulic integrity of the assembly.

Accumulator Piston Kit

Partnr. 39741-42K

Worn-out accumulator piston bores in listed Aisin AW 6-speed units allow pressurized transmission fluid to leak past the accumulator piston to the sump.

These leaks can result in a flare at upshift, delayed engagement, poor line rise or clutch failure.

The Sonnax accumulator piston kit 39741-42K will restore a worn accumulator bore and correct leakage problems.

• Salvages valve bodies with severe accumulator bore wear

• O-Ring seal improves piston response
