Thermal Bypass Eliminator Kit
Part No. 72760-01K

For use in Chrysler/Jeep OE part numbers 52014762AA, 68186711AB, 68291739AA and 68210018AA.

The OE thermal bypass valve in listed units is known to get stuck in recirculation mode, only allowing fluid to circulate in the transmission and not allowing flow through the cooler. Sonnax thermal bypass eliminator kit 72760-01K allows reuse of the OE cooler block with the built-in pressure relief by removing the old OE thermal bypass valve and replacing it with a plug that permanently allows flow through the cooler.

Solenoid Test Manifold Kit
Part No. 35430-VTK

Tooling:

• VACTEST-01K

The leading cause of solenoid failure in ZF8HP45, ZF8HP55, ZF8HP70 and Chrysler 845RE units is an inability to maintain an internal mechanical seal, resulting in a multitude of drivability concerns. Since it is not an electrical failure, it can be difficult to evaluate whether a solenoid is the cause of a particular problem.

Sonnax solenoid test manifold kit 35430-VTK allows quick, easy, cost-effective pass/fail verification of the solenoid's internal sealing integrity, taking the guess work out of replacing solenoids.

• Must be used with Sonnax vacuum test stand VACTEST-01K
• Test solenoid sealing reliability with vacuum by inserting solenoid snout into Sonnax test manifold
