Sonnax Zip Kit 6T70-G2-ZIP targets the root cause of multiple concerns by sealing critical circuit pressure losses in GM Gen. 2 6T70, 6T75 and 6T80 valve bodies. The kit contains uniquely-designed parts to prevent the loss of pressures within the main line, clutch apply control, actuator feed and lockup control circuits. The kit also seals multiple circuits known to suffer from end plug leakage or poor checkball sealing. No separate special tools are required for installing these parts.

The Zip Kit quick guide provides clear and easy instructions on one sheet to get the unit sealed up and back on the road quickly. In addition to general rebuilding tips and technical information, the technical booklet included in this kit contains vacuum testing information and locations at other key areas of the valve body.

• No reaming required
• Installs quickly with no separate special tools required
• Uniquely designed parts address root causes of valve body concerns by sealing critical pressure circuits
• Detailed technical booklet included with in-depth rebuild and inspection tips for comprehensive valve body repair.

Governor Bracket & Spring Kit
Part No. 32204-03K

A common aftermarket fix for sticking primary weights is to install a spring inside the governor body of Chrysler A404, A413, A470 and A670 units. This approach often fails because the spring jams in the bore. Sonnax governor bracket and spring kit 32204-03K is designed so the spring is outside the governor body, safely returning the governor valve to the at-rest position at stops.

• Designed to return the primary weight to the at-rest position
• Two return springs are provided, one for 4-cylinder or turbo, and one for 6-cylinder applications
• No transmission removal required
• The use of this governor bracket and return spring will slightly increase shift timing

Note: If the weight has a through bore, use the 9-coil light spring, not the 6-coil heavy spring. It is recommended to use a PTFE seal ring since cast-iron rings can contaminate the governor.
