ZIP-kit ZF6HP19, ZF6HP26, 6R60

Sonnax Zip Kit ZF6-6R60-ZIP targets the root cause of multiple complaints by sealing the critical circuit pressure losses in the ZF6HP19/26/32 (Generation 1) and Ford 6R60/6R80 valve bodies. The kit contains uniquely designed parts to prevent the loss of pressures within the main line, solenoid regulator, reverse, clutch control and solenoid apply circuits with no special tools required.

The Zip Kit quick guide provides clear and easy instructions on one sheet to get the unit sealed up and back on the road fast. In addition to general rebuilding tips and technical information, the technical booklet included in this kit contains vacuum testing and additional repair options for higher mileage units or for repairing specific complaints which are beyond the scope of this kit.

NOTE: This Zip Kit ZF6-6R60-ZIP is designed for ZF6HP19/26/32 (Generation 1) and Ford 6R60/6R80 applications only. A separate Zip Kit ZF6-GEN2-ZIP is available for ZF6HP21/28/34 (Generation 2) applications. To verify valve bodies, see this identification guide for further details.

ZIP-kit ZF6HP21, ZF6HP28

Sonnax Zip Kit ZF6-GEN2-ZIP targets the root cause of multiple complaints by sealing the critical circuit pressure losses in listed valve bodies.

Input/Output Shaft Bushing
Part No. 95030-05

Fits units with .669" (16.98mm) dia. shaft journals only.

Package Quantity: 6

The OE bushings used at the input-to-intermediate shaft and intermediate-to-output shaft in ZF6HP19, ZF6HP26, ZF6HP28 and Ford 6R80 units have a tendency to wear out prematurely due to sub-optimal material composition.

This wear can lead to bushing failure, pressure control codes, and loss of correct pressure to the B-clutch. Sonnax input/output shaft bushing 95030-05 features superior wear characteristics, eliminating premature deterioration for worry-free operation. The upgraded material composition outperforms the OE bushing.

"A" Drum Rear Bushing
Part No. 95030-04

Fits 1.967" (49.97mm) dia. shaft journals only.

Package Quantity: 5

The OE bushing at the rear of the "A" drum in ZF6HP19, ZF6HP26 and ZF6HP28 units has a tendency to wear out and fail prematurely due to sub-optimal material composition.

Sonnax offers improved "A" drum rear bushing 95030-04 to restore worry-free operation.

Front Stator Support Bushing
Part No. 95030-09

Fits .952" (24.17mm) diameter input shaft front journal. Not all ZF6HP19/21 units utilize a front stator support bushing; application must be verified before installation.

Package Quantity: 5

Front stator support bushings in ZF6HP19 and ZF6HP21 units have a tendency to wear out prematurely due to sub-optimal material composition of OE bushing. This wear can lead to bushing failure and possible converter damage. Sonnax front stator support bushing 95030-09 features superior wear characteristics, eliminating premature deterioration for worry-free operation.
