Signal Accumulator Piston Kit

GM 8L45 and 8L90 transmissions often suffer burnt clutches, shift concerns, low line pressure and/or converter apply complaints due to excess wear in the signal accumulator piston bores in the control solenoid valve body casting. This wear allows valuable VFS signal pressure to exhaust, preventing proper shift control, line pressure regulation, and/or converter clutch apply.

The Sonnax drop-in signal accumulator piston kit 154740-06K allows bores to be reconditioned quickly and easily with no reaming required. The hydraulic integrity of the VFS signal pressure circuits are re-established, and future wear prevented with positive sealing and wear resistant components.

Simple fix with no reaming or special tools required

The ZF5HP19 Pressure Regulator Repair kit is a simple fix you can do while the transmission is still in the vehicle. This kit addresses the PR valve malfunction that causes rough or bangy shifts complaints. Be sure to identify your valve body and verify it has a vent in the location shown.

Corrects/Prevents/Reduces:

• Runaway pressure that breaks drums
• Kick-down bang
• Harsh shifts

Simple fix with no reaming or special tools required

Installing the ZF5HP-24 Pressure Regulator Repair kit is a simple fix with no reaming and does not require special tools or complete disassembly of the valve body. This Pressure Regulator Repair kit fixes the PR valve malfunction that causes rough or bangy shifts complaints. If you need to disassemble this type of valve body, exercise a great deal of care when removing the separator plate from the upper channel plate as this is where all the small parts are located. Make note of where the small parts go because they are different for each model.

Corrects/Prevents/Reduces:

• Runaway pressure that breaks drums
• Harsh shifts
• Kick-down bang

Center Support Seal Kit

The rubber seals between the center support in the case and the machined surface of the valve body are prone to leakage over time. In GM 6L45, 6L50, 6L80, 6L90 transmissions, this can result in continuous line pressure and lube flow loss, as well as clutch apply leakage in Reverse, 2nd and 6th. Installation of the Sonnax center support seal kit 104740-14K will prevent any leakage that occurs due to a gap between the rubber OE seals and the valve body or center support. Drop-in Zip Valve parts install quickly and easily./p>

General Motors vehicles equipped with Turbo HydraMatic 125 and 125C automatic transmissions often suffer from premature band failure, 3-2 downshift clunk, reverse slip / shudder, lock-up shudder, converter drainback, and pressure regulator valve buzz.

The TransGo SK 125 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit includes parts as well as complete technical information to fix those common issues. Once re-calibrated with this kit, the band apply is 6 to 8 times faster during a 3-2 downshift. This eliminates the accidental 3-1 downshift heavy kick-down shift which inevitably burns the band over time. The kit also provides twice as much oil to the high clutch and 4 times as much oil to keep the band fully released in 3^rd gear.

Corrects/Prevents/Reduces:

• 3-2 clunk, when stopping 20-14 mph
• Slow, soft, extended or bind up 2-3 shift
• Lock-up shudder on light acceleration or during lock-up
• Reverse-slip / shudder due to boost malfunction
• With this kit, ANY bullet-accumulator exhaust check valve works perfectly, they are just no longer a problem when you install this kit
• Converter drain-back resulting in delay
• Pressure Regulator buzz
• Neutral over bump or railroad track
