The Sonnax tri-metal direct clutch drum thrust washer 28406C is designed especially for the extreme loads seen in race-only applications. The thrust washer is made of lead-bronze on a steel backing, then lead-tin plated to withstand the highloads of drag racing. The washer is also designed with four oil grooves to increase surface lubrication for longer service life. At .078" thick, it can be shimmed for precise clearance.

• Higher load capacity than OE thrust washer
• Increased life by improved oiling

The 1-2 accumulator bore in the 350 cases can become worn or scored from repeated oscillation during normal operation. This can result in delayed engagements and 1-2 slip from low line pressure, which could cause intermediate clutch failure. Once the bore is damaged the case must be thrown away. Sonnax has designed a 350 1-2 accumulator sleeve rebuild kit 35719-01K, which contains everything necessary to rebuild your 1-2 accumulator, except for the OE spring, snap ring and cap.

• This kit is a simple drop-in solution and requires no machining to the transmission case
• Salvages cases

The intermediate servo bore becomes scored from repeated cycling. The spring side of the piston has line pressure present in R, N, D. Excess leakage at the servo piston results in low line pressure and delayed engagements. During forward speeds, oil loss affects shift quality and reduces clutch life. To salvage cases install Sonnax intermediate servo sleeve kit 35709-01K.

• Kit contains an aluminum sleeve and a replacement piston with a PTFE seal.
