Pressure regulator valve JF506E

• Valve
• Spring
• End Plug

Constant movement of the pressure regulator valve wears the valve body bore. Bore/valve wear causes erratic line pressure, resulting in delayed engagements, loss of lockup and high or low line pressure, depending on the area and extent of wear. Sonnax offers a oversized pressure regulator valve kit 122892-03K to restore hydraulic pressure control in Jatco JF506E and Volkswagen AG5/09A units.

TCC Apply valve kit OVERSIZED 01M

• Valve
• Boost Assembly
• Spring

Continuous stroking of the TCC apply valve can create excessive valve body wear, and allow converter apply pressure to leak to exhaust. This prevents proper engagement of the torque converter clutch, and can result in loss of TCC apply, engine stall, overheating conditions, or a 1582 code. Sonnax has developed an oversized TCC apply valve that allows the valve body to be refurbished, restoring the hydraulic integrity of the circuit.

• Kit includes an increased ratio TCC boost valve assembly to work with the oversized apply valve. Valve has an identification groove on it. (Do not use the previous OE ratio boost valve.)
• A replacement TCC apply spring is included, since the original spring is frequently broken

Oversized Pump Flow Control Valve
Part No. 113741-07

Tooling: F-113741-TL7C & VB-FIX

In Nissan/Jatco JF010E (RE0F09A) units the pump body flow control valve bore wears due to constant valve movement. Wear allows critical pump pressure to leak into the low pressure side of the pump, reducing pressure needed for proper engagements and push belt pulleys to operate correctly. Sonnax oversized pump flow control valve 113741-07 allows the pump body to be refurbished and hydraulic control to be restored.

• Hardcoat anodized aluminum valves combat premature wear
• Use of the VB-06 base plate and the VB-FIX reaming fixture, allows salvage of previoulsy non-repairable pump bodies

Pressure Regulator Valve A340 OS

• Valve
• Spring

Replaces 3 spool pressure regulator valve in units with 3 or fewer solenoids

The continuous oscillation of the pressure regulator valve wears the valve body bore. If severe wear occurs at the balance line circuit, the pressure regulator valve won't stroke to reduce line pressure and feed the converter/lube circuits. This can result in high line pressure, harsh shifts, reduced converter pressure and loss of lube. Severe wear at the other pressure regulator valve circuits can allow line pressure to exhaust or go to sump, resulting in low line pressure, soft shifts, and burned clutches and bands. The Sonnax oversized valves 89010-03K,89010-04K and 97855-24K allow the valve body to be refurbished to restore proper clearances. See chart to find which part fits your application.

Manual Valve
Part No. 41750-03

KM Series 4-Speed

• Manual valve blocks some line circuit oil from exhausting to the sump, which increases converter charge pressure in park.
• Redesigned manual orifice redirects the exhaust flow and reduces sump cavitation.

Note: Not recommended for some Hyundai applications. Do not use with .218 (5.5mm) ball in pump. Valve is calibrated to work with all units with.312 (8mm) ball in pump.

Oversized Pressure Regulator Valve
Part No. 74846-05

For use with .357" OE valve small diameter only.

Tooling: 74846-TL5

Mazda vehicles with a G4A-EL, G4A-HL or GF4A-EL transmission may have problems with low line pressure, high line pressure, harsh shifts, lack of cooler flow, and/or blued converters. Many times these complaints can be traced back to a worn valve body bore at the pressure regulator valve.

If line balance or cutback feed pressure is allowed to leak, the valve can't regulate line pressure, so pressures remain high. TV balance pressure reduces line pressure in 2nd, 3rd and 4th Gears, so leaks at these spool diameters can cause harsh shifts. If the bore is worn at the line pressure passage, valuable line pressure may exhaust to sump.

Sonnax oversized pressure regulator valve 74846-05 for the these applications eliminates leakage of both balance oil and line pressure. The spring seat on the valve has been modified to compensate for the oversized valve and also provides higher line pressure at idle

Oversized Pressure Regulator Valve Kit
Part No. 89010-03K

Replaces .458" long OE large spool design

The continuous oscillation of the pressure regulator valve wears the valve body bore. If severe wear occurs at the balance line circuit, the pressure regulator valve won't stroke to reduce line pressure and feed the converter/lube circuits. This can result in high line pressure, harsh shifts, reduced converter pressure and loss of lube. Severe wear at the other pressure regulator valve circuits can allow line pressure to exhaust or go to sump, resulting in low line pressure, soft shifts, and burned clutches and bands. The Sonnax oversized valves 89010-03K, 89010-04K and 97855-24K allow the valve body to be refurbished to restore proper clearances. See chart to find which part fits your application.

• Oversized, hardened steel valves allow valve body to be refurbished to restore hydraulic integrity.
• One tool kit for all three applications

Oversized Converter Feed Limit Valve
Part No. 104520-11

Tooling:

• F-104520-TL11C

• VB-06

• VB-FIX

GM 6L45, 6L50, 6L80, 6L90 units may have TCC apply and release problems. Bore wear or a stuck converter feed limit valve can result in converter overheat, incorrect TCC apply or release, inadequate lube and cooling, and converter over-pressurization. Reaming the bore and installing the Sonnax oversized converter feed limit valve 104520-11 will restore proper valve function, resulting in proper TCC apply and release, regaining control of lube and cooling.

Tool Kit
Part No. F-92835-TL37

This TransGo 4L6-CCV valve kit fits 1993 to 2015 General Motors vehicles equipped with the 4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E automatic transmission.

When used in high performance or transplanted vehicles for off-road or strip use at times there may be a desire to eliminate the lock-up clutch function and fit the transmission with a torque converter with the lock-up clutch omitted. However, unless internal transmission modifications are made at the oil pump and valve body, doing this can result in a loss of coupling complaint-slippage and excessive heat build-up due to the converter not staying fully charged with fluid under heavy load and high RPM.

Features and benefits:

This TransGo converter flow correction kit provides you with an easy-to-install, drop-in solution, that redirects converter flow to the primary pump area and allows the converter to stay fully charged under high load and RPM. This new valve system does not require any pump machining, cross-drilling or any modification to the pump or support. It does not require a TCC enable solenoid; however, you can reinstall it if you wish. This kit is fully compatible with our enter line of products for the 4L60E series transmission.

Running a non-lock-up converter while driving in an overdriven ratio increases transmission operating temperature and can cause overheating. For this reason, it is always best to add a cooler. Transmission removal is required for installation. Lastly, please note that the computer must have a state an EPA legal reflash for non-lockup use when used in vehicles that still utilize the OE computer control system for transmission management to prevent the TCM from setting a lock up performance or slip code such as P0741.

Corrects/Prevents/Reduces:

• Corrects converter charge and lube flow when using non-lockup converter
