Raybestos® Powertrain Chrysler Module GEN 2 Clutch Pack® Set. 9 Forward A727 GEN 2 Blue Friction Clutch Plates.

The Gen2 Blue Plate Special, the ultimate racing clutch for automatic transmissions, is the perfect clutch for ALL TYPES of racing. It features an improved Raybestos-developed material that offers optimum shifting at a level above standard racing clutches.

It provides a positive engagement under high power conditions where all of the energy absorption is condensed into a very short length of time.

Gen2 is a state-of-the-art, power absorbing clutch that performs with very low wear, excellent fatigue strength, high durability and quick shifts with little shock for even faster times.

Heavy Duty Input Shaft
Part No. 22121B-01

Designed for hard-working Chrysler A618, 47RH/RE and 48RE units, Sonnax heavy duty input shaft 22121B-01 comes with durability and performance features which are second to none.

Instead of the OE two-piece shaft/hub design, the Sonnax shaft uses a much stronger, one-piece design that combines the input shaft and forward clutch hub, eliminating the weak connection between the two. The Sonnax shaft itself is custom forged from ultra high-strength 300M steel to allow the internal grain structure of the steel to follow the general shape of the part, improving shaft strength.

• Heavy-duty, one-piece design eliminates weak connection between input shaft and forward clutch hub
• Custom forged from ultra-high strength 300M steel
• 23-Tooth input spline, 62-tooth clutch spline
• Shaft can be used with OE seals

OE Part No: 02464651AE, 02464651AB, 02464651AD, 02464651

OE cast front (direct) clutch pistons in listed Chrysler units crack and break, resulting in direct clutch failure.

Sonnax reinforced front clutch piston 22965A-01 is made of cast aluminum and specially designed to guard against failure with additional webbing that reinforces weak areas of the piston.

NOTE: The Sonnax piston is a direct replacement for OE part numbers 02464651AB, 02464651AD and 02464651AE used in '98-later 46RE, 47RE and 48RE units.

Can also be used as a replacement for OE part number 02464651 in A727, as well as '97-earlier 46RH/RE and 47RH/RE units when used in conjunction with thicker steels to compensate for the .020" thinner piston.
