Tool 0AM VW supplement Gen. 1 and 2

This vehicle-specific tool kit must be combined with the basic tool kit 4000041810. It can be used to disassemble, assemble and adjust both first generation double clutches (up to May 2011) and second generation double clutches (from June 2011) in vehicles manufactured by Audi, SEAT, Škoda and Volkswagen with a 0AM transmission.

The basic tool kit (part no. 400 0418 10) forms the basis of the modular tool system.

It contains those tools that are generally required for all repairs to double clutches.

Together with a vehicle-specific tool kit, they form a complete kit for professional repairs.

This is based on all dry double clutch systems currently available from LuK.

This tool is to be used to reset a clutch that has been installed before. New double clutches for Renault vehicles with DC4 transmission are in principle fitted with a transport fastener. This means that no additional work is necessary prior to assembly.

The transport fastener must be put back in place if the double clutch is used again after disassembly, e.g. because work has been carried out on the transmission seals.

This toolkit serves also Hyundai, Kia D6GF1 6-speed and Ford DPS6 6-speed

L/U ctrl plunger  OS A750 / A760E / A960

• Plunger Valve
• Sleeve

Toyota/Lexus A750, A760 and A960 series transmissions can have complaints associated with a worn plunger valve and sleeve which includes harsh 2-3 and harsh coast downshifts. This is due to the converter clutch remaining applied. When the plunger valve and sleeve wear, this can delay TCC apply, the vehicle RPM may surge or set gear ratio codes due to high slip rates. Installing the Sonnax drop-in lockup control plunger valve and sleeve kit 147741-37K can restore correct lube pressure and valve control timing when bore wear at the lockup clutch control valve is not an issue.

Boostvalve A750,A760,A960,AB60

• Inner Boost Valve
• Outer Boost Valve
• Sleeve

• Boost sleeve is manufactured from highly wear-resistant billet aluminum to prevent the excessive wear exhibited by the cast OE sleeve
• Restores proper line rise

Zip Kit®
Part No. A750E-A761E-ZIP

Sonnax Zip Kit A750E-A761E-ZIP targets the root cause of multiple complaints by sealing the critical circuit pressure losses in Toyota/Lexus A750, A760 and A960 series valve bodies. The kit contains uniquely designed parts to prevent the loss of pressures within the main line, clutch apply control and lockup control circuits. The kit also seals multiple circuits known to suffer from end plug leakage or poor checkball sealing. No special tools are required for installing these parts.

The Zip Kit quick guide provides clear and easy instructions on one sheet to get the unit sealed up and back on the road fast. In addition to general rebuilding tips and technical information, the technical booklet included in this kit contains vacuum testing information and locations at other key areas of the valve body.

• No reaming required
• Installs quickly with no special tools required
• Uniquely designed parts address root causes of valve body complaints by sealing critical pressure circuits
• Detailed technical booklet included with in-depth rebuild and inspection tips for comprehensive valve body repair

TCC Apply valve kit OVERSIZED 01M

• Valve
• Boost Assembly
• Spring

Continuous stroking of the TCC apply valve can create excessive valve body wear, and allow converter apply pressure to leak to exhaust. This prevents proper engagement of the torque converter clutch, and can result in loss of TCC apply, engine stall, overheating conditions, or a 1582 code. Sonnax has developed an oversized TCC apply valve that allows the valve body to be refurbished, restoring the hydraulic integrity of the circuit.

• Kit includes an increased ratio TCC boost valve assembly to work with the oversized apply valve. Valve has an identification groove on it. (Do not use the previous OE ratio boost valve.)
• A replacement TCC apply spring is included, since the original spring is frequently broken

TCC Control sleeve 01M,01N,01P

• Valve
• Sleeve
• Spring

In VW 01M, 01N and 01P transmissions the TCC boost valve wears the inside diameter of the sleeve due to constant valve oscillation. When wear is significant, oil leaks past the valve, preventing it from properly stroking the converter clutch apply valve into the release position, leading to engine stalls and converter overheat. Sonnax offers a replacement valve and sleeve assembly 119940-01K that restores hydraulic integrity to the circuit with tight tolerances and proper material.
