Press.reg.v. F4A41, F4A51 (OS)

If wear in Mitsubishi F4A and F5A applications occurs at the balance/inboard end, the valve will not stroke to reduce line pressure and reduces feed to the converter/lube circuits. This can result in high line pressure, harsh shifts, reduced converter pressure and loss of lube. Severe wear at the other pressure regulator valve circuits can allow line pressure to exhaust, resulting in low line pressure, soft shifts and burnt clutches and bands. Sonnax oversized pressure regulator valve kit 41954-01K restores the valve body to normal operating condition.

• Valve is hardcoat anodized to reduce wear

Replaces 3 spool pressure regulator valve in units with 3 or fewer solenoids

The continuous oscillation of the pressure regulator valve wears the valve body bore. If severe wear occurs at the balance line circuit, the pressure regulator valve won't stroke to reduce line pressure and feed the converter/lube circuits. This can result in high line pressure, harsh shifts, reduced converter pressure and loss of lube. Severe wear at the other pressure regulator valve circuits can allow line pressure to exhaust or go to sump, resulting in low line pressure, soft shifts, and burned clutches and bands. The Sonnax oversized valves 89010-03K,89010-04K and 97855-24K allow the valve body to be refurbished to restore proper clearances. See chart to find which part fits your application.

Vehicles with Toyota/Lexus U660E and U660F transmissions may exhibit 2nd and 6th Gear shift complaints and a burned B1 brake. These problems may be caused by continuous oscillation of the steel B1 apply boost valve within the cast aluminum boost sleeve, creating excessive wear and a path for line pressure to exhaust and the B1 apply control valve to stroke prematurely.

Sonnax B1 apply boost valve kit 47740-19K has upgraded materials and minimal clearances to prevent wear and restore proper hydraulic control.

• Boost sleeve is manufactured from highly wear-resistant billet aluminum to prevent excessive wear

• Restores proper line rise

• Drop-in Zip Valve^™ parts install quickly and easily
