Oversized Pressure Regulator Valve Kit Part No. 35740-01K

• Valve

• Sleeve

Vehicles equipped with ZF8HP45, ZF8HP55 and ZF8HP70 transmissions often develop erratic or high line pressure due to excessive wear in the OE pressure regulator valve bore and/or sleeve.

This wear allows critical oil loss, preventing proper line pressure regulation. Without correct balance oil pressure, the PR valve will be out of its desired position, resulting in line pressure instability and possibly restricting cooler and lube flow.

A deteriorated bore can cause lowered line pressure, resulting in soft shifting and burnt clutches. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized pressure regulator valve kit 35740-01K renews pressure regulator action for revived line pressure control in all ranges.

• Hardcoat anodized aluminum valve combats premature wear

• Annular grooves help center valve in bore to reduce side-load wear Needs tool F-35740-TL

Oversized Clutch Holding Valve Kit Part No. 35740-20K

• Valve Spring

• End plug

• O-Rings (3) 1 Extra Fits five separate locations.

Clutch holding valve locations HV-C and HV-E use an end plug, the HV-A, HV-D and HV-B1 locations do not. The ZF8HP45/55/70 clutch holding valves provide solenoid feedback pressure to the clutch control valves, balancing each control valve to assist with apply and release of the respective clutch.

Excess wear at a clutch holding valve bore allows crucial fluid to escape the circuit. This can cause shift timing problems, a burnt clutch, ratio and solenoid codes, or loss of gears.

Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized clutch holding valve kit 35740-20K eliminates bore wear and stops leakage for renewed clutch operation.
